- • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is used to extract text from images

Koala.ai's Study Buddy feature uses AI to provide personalized tutoring based on your uploaded transcripts and study materials. This feature:
- • Analyzes your transcript content to answer questions about your specific class
- • Retains conversation history to provide better personalized help
- • May use third-party AI services (Grok/XAI) for content generation
- • Does not share your conversations with other users
- • Can be deleted anytime, removing associated conversation history
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

Lecture content (recordings and transcriptions) is the intellectual property of your professor and/or educational institution. We store this data on your behalf for your personal study use only. We do not:

If a professor or institution requests deletion of a recording, we will comply upon verification of their request.
